Picking an old curio out of a hat...
"Wasted Time" was a piece I was working on in 1986-87,
shortly after I'd graduated from college. I never did come up
with satisfactory lyrics and the main song was never completely
developed, but the instrumental middle section had some really
cool echoing-synth ramblings and bass lines that I still kind
of groove to. Presented here is that middle section as it was
recorded back in 1987, straight to a cassette tape, with me playing
along live along with a drum machine and a sequenced bass line.
Enjoy!
