i. O Holy Child (Martin/Jerlin)
ii. A New Dawn (Celano/Martin/Jerlin)
iii. Sing A New Song (Martin/Jerlin)
O Holy Child
(Martin/Jerlin)
For a baby, for a child,
in a manger, here awhile,
in a stable, born today,
born in peace, here to stay...
Hear the promise, from of old,
God is coming, so behold!
For a lifetime, we will see,
all the Glory, in the Prince of Peace...
-CHORUS-
O Holy Child, born in Bethlehem,
You are the one,
God's own saving lamb.
You are the one,
promised at the dawn,
born on Christmas morn'.
On this Christmas, all can tell,
what the angels have beheld,
what the angels, they proclaim,
in the child who has loved...
Loved the children, of the dawn,
peaceful Savior, who is born,
so the children, all can see,
what a peace, the manger brings...
-CHORUS-
So we gather, near the dawn,
at the manger, on Christmas morn',
in a stable, now is born,
all the love that enfolds...
On this Christmas, raise your eyes,
with a vision, of the Light,
with decision, on Silent Night,
shared in story, story told...
-CHORUS-
For God never leaves us,
where we can't be found,
without a new vision,
and a song to pass around.
For the life of glory,
can begin with us today,
if we count our blessings,
and follow in the Way.
A New Dawn
(Celano/Martin/Jerlin)
O Holy Child, born in Bethlehem,
You are the one, God's own saving lamb!
For God never leaves us where we can't be found,
without a vision, and a song to pass around.
For the life of glory can begin with us today,
if we count our blessings, put our faith in Him,
and follow in the Way!
Sing A New Song
(Martin/Jerlin)
Sing a new song! Tell the story!
Sing a new song! Share the glory!
Sing a new song, be the temple,
where the Word of God is found.
Word to find and save the people,
who would worship, and bow down.
-CHORUS-
For God never leaves us,
where we can't be found,
without a new vision,
and a song to pass around.
For the life of glory,
can begin with us today,
if we turn away from sin,
put our faith in Him,
and follow in the Way.
For a lifetime, we've been yearning.
For a lifetime, now we're learning.
That our God is always present,
even when we feel alone.
God can speak in wind and fire,
and provide a passage home.
-CHORUS-
In the Savior, find a true ground.
In the Savior, know that we're bound.
Bound to be the joyful children,
of the Lord who reigns above.
And in memory, calls believers,
to remember now in Love.
-CHORUS-
For God never leaves us where we can't be found,
without a new vision, and a song to pass around.
For the life of glory can begin with us today,
if we count our blessings, and follow in the Way.
"The Mirror"

THE BELIEVER:
Should I pull the trigger of this gun?
Is it really me? Or is it real?
Should I change my ways? How will I feel?
Can it be real?
THE BELIEVER:
Hey you,
underneath the sky,
I'm gonna put an end to us;
you know we both know why.
You can't escape.
You're history, my friend.
Your story started slowly,
and you thought it'd never end,
but you were wrong.
Now it's time for you to die.
Let's not waste a moment longer.
Any last words? Come on...
THE TEMPTER:
You said you loved me;
that was long ago.
What happened to us since then?
Can you tell me what you know?
I think you've lost
all your sanity, my friend.
We started out together,
and we thought it'd never end,
but then you changed.
You will miss me when I'm gone.
Let's not waste a moment longer.
There's the gun... Come on...
THE BELIEVER:
I'm standing all alone.
I don't know what to do.
I can't make up my mind.
I haven't got a clue.
Looking in the mirror, I can't see,
if I've lost or gained a part of me.
It's so hard to tell,
it looks the same, the same...
THE BELIEVER:
Hey you,
with that empty stare,
I've had it up to here with you,
sit down right over there.
I'm in control, now.
Let's play a little game.
I've only got one bullet,
and I think it's got your name.
You can't escape.
You won't hurt me anymore.
Let's not waste a moment longer.
Here's it comes...
THE ACCUSER:
wait, Wait, WAIT... you,
with that loaded gun,
you think you're really something,
hey, just look at what you've done.
You won't escape your destiny,
my friend.
You're headed for disaster
and it's never gonna end.
You should give up.
Put the gun down; let me try
to put the pieces back together.
Put it down...
Put it down...
Put it down...
THE BELIEVER:
As I stare, my image does the same.
Is it really me? Or is it real?
As I move, my image moves with me.
Should I change my ways? How will I feel?
Can it be real?
Should I pull the trigger of this gun?
Even if I do, I can't undo what's done.
I'm standing in a whirlwind with a choice.
Amidst the wind and fire, there is a still small voice...
It calls...
Can it be real?
The Mirror doesn't lie; I see my sin.
(YOU WILL MISS ME WHEN I'M GONE)
I turn away, then I turn back again.
There once was a time when I loved you so.
(YOU WON'T HURT ME ANYMORE)
But you've hurt me so much you'll have to go.
Is it real?
You will miss me when I'm gone;
Let's put the pieces back together...
You won't hurt me anymore;
Let's not waste a moment longer...
Put the gun down; let me try,
to put the pieces back together...
I can't do this on my own,
Where is that still small voice that's real...
It/Is is/it real...
Save me!!
Hey you,
underneath the floor,
you had your shining moment,
but you won't have any more.
For once it's real!
"And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen."-Romans 16:20

He is risen, He is risen, ALLELUIA!
He is risen, He is risen, PRAISE THE LORD!
There are those,
who doubted He could rise,
that He is truly risen,
they can't believe their eyes.
Miracles,
they would explain away.
But a risen Savior,
calls us out of darkness,
and into life today!
-CHORUS-
Roll that stone away,
from your heart.
He is the Way, Truth and Light!
Accept what is given,
believe Him today.
He is the living bread of life!
He is risen, He is risen, ALLELUIA!
He is risen, He is risen, PRAISE THE LORD!
At the tomb,
believers can be found,
who realize an empty tomb,
is really quite profound.
Now our doubts,
have vanished in the night,
when our risen Savior,
conquers death,
embracing us,
in a brand new light!
-CHORUS-

Dedicated to all veterans
No walls can hide, no power dim -
the memory of our departed kin;
who now and evermore you'll find,
are remembered - -
in our hearts,
our prayers,
and in our minds.
And still, we pledge our selves to be,
sons and daughters of that living legacy,
a legion, in watch,
that all might remain free,
"In Memoriam" for all the world to see.

Flock to New York City,
Smell the opportunity...
Green card seems so far away.
Senoritas selling smiles for pay.
Desperate to make a home,
Desperate to have their own,
Desperate to keep them free,
In the land of opportunity...
Fitting ten to one room,
Wait for seeds to someday bloom...
They can't even write their name.
They just want to get into the game.
Desperate to make a home,
Desperate to have their own,
Desperate to keep them free,
In the land of opportunity...
Desperate...

It is good to praise the Lord. (3x)
Make music to Your name, Oh Most High!
You, oh Lord, are my Rock. (3x)
Make music to Your name, Oh Most High!
You, who make me glad,
I sing for joy!
Best life I've ever had,
By the works of Your hands.
In the morning,
in the evening,
all through the day,
Make music to Your name, Oh Most High!
The evil, You cast down. (3x)
Make music to Your name, Oh Most High!
The righteous, You lift up. (3x)
Make music to Your name, Oh Most High!
I, Lord, exalt You,
and sing for joy!
Evil is all destroyed,
by the works of Your hands.
You, who make me glad,
I sing for joy!
Best life I've ever had,
By the works of Your hands.
When you're happy,
when you're lonely,
all through the day,
make music to Your name, Oh Most High!
When you're singing,
when you're sighing,
all through the day,
make music to Your name, Oh Most High!
When you're mourning,
when you're dancing,
all through the day,
make music to Your name, Oh Most High!
It is good to praise the Lord. (3x)

When you're alone,
when you are fearful of what life has given you,
I will always shield you in the shadow of my wings.
You can have joy!
You can have peace that you may never understand!
I will always hold you in my arms...
Be still for I am here with you.
Be still for I am here with you.
Be still for I am here with you.
Trust in me; I'll be your strength, always!
When you're in pain,
when you need someone there to wipe away the tears,
I will always shield you in the shadow of my wings.
I sent you my Son!
You are washed cleaner than the freshly fallen snow.
I will always hold you in my arms...
Be still for I am here with you.
Be still for I am here with you.
Be still for I am here with you.
Trust in me; I'll be your strength, always!

The Marriage Dream
(Martin)
Take my hand, I'll take yours,
Lift them high in prayer to the Lord,
'til our dreams become reality,
Take these two, and make them one in Thee.
-CHORUS-
I am you,
You are me;
We are one in the Living Lord.
With our rings,
we will join with God,
and God will bless us far beyond our dreams!
In the past, all was lost;
We were stranded upon a lonely shore.
Then you came, and made our lives complete,
when we learned only God can fill our needs.
-CHORUS-
Joined with hands, and with hearts,
God turn our marriage vows to Thee,
that through loving You we might see,
how to bring the whole world to believe!
-CHORUS-
For My Bride
(Jerlin)
-WEDDING DAY-
You hardly knew me...
but you knew enough,
to believe it could work out.
You had to convince me,
that your feelings were right.
Now, I'm glad that you did;
I love every moment I'm spending with you.
You've given me more,
more than you'll ever know...
Now, now that you're here.
I feel complete;
Everything's clear.
Now, you can be sure,
I'll always love you,
for evermore...
-A FEW YEARS LATER-
We've grown together...
We've shared highs and lows;
We've weathered some storms.
We've come out much closer,
than we were before.
Now, I'm glad you're beside me;
I love every moment I'm spending with you.
You've given me more,
more than you'll ever know...
Now, we look to the future,
Raising a family,
Making more memories,
Now, we're closer than ever,
And I'll always love you,
forever and ever...
Forever and ever...
"New York Reflected"
Melody & Lyrics by Matthew Beckham
Music & arrangement by Matthew Beckham and Edward Jerlin

New York drowned my heart beat
In a syncopated pace
Taught me how to bend my knee
Like a drunk man sayin' grace
Oh she kept those lights of Broadway
just a shinin' in my eye,
Till the Saints of 42nd street
They lost their will to try
But I wasn't born in New York City
In New York I won't die
Fell down on a ferry
goin' Staten Island way
Must have frightened Lady Liberty
'Cause she almost flew away
But the ghosts on Ellis Island
They all begged that she would stay.
So I guess she changed her mind
Baby keep your torch held high
But I wasn't born in New York City
In New York I won't die
Oh can you give me shelter
Oh can you shape this storm
Oh can you Hold me close and
Give me hope to carry on, carry on
I came here as a pauper
But no rag could I find
To build myself a fortress
so I built one in my mind
But when my lips kissed concrete
A certain benediction did I find
When you find your feet of clay
Learned to drink red wine and grace
But I wasn't born in New York City
In New York I won't die
Oh can you give me shelter
Oh can you shape this storm
Oh can you Hold me close and
Give me hope to carry on, carry on

Down here people don't want to hear about lies
Don't want to hear about truth
Don't want to hear about You, no...
Down here people don't want to hear about time
Or an eternal thing about a broken wing
Send me unto the lonely,
I'll go, the one and only remedy
Give me the words to shatter the darkness
One heart that overflows with pure love,
can make a dying garden grow
Give me the words to shatter the darkness
Down here people don't want to hear about lies
Don't want to hear about truth
Don't want to hear about You, no...
Down here people just want to serve the great god I
So let me pour the salt of Your love
on all of the wounds and open the blinded eyes....
Send me unto the lonely,
I'll go, the one and only remedy
Give me the words to shatter the darkness
One heart that overflows with pure love,
can make a dying garden grow
Give me the words to shatter the dark with...
LOVE!!
Your word promises to take me through the storm
You won't deny me Your grace is gonna take me home...
Send me unto the lonely,
I'll go, the one and only remedy
Give me the words to shatter the darkness
One heart that overflows with pure love,
can make a dying garden grow
Give me the words to shatter the dark with LOVE!
Every day new songs to sing
and your sweet love means everything,
(Give me the words to say)
(Give me a song to sing)
Every day we praise your name
and your sweet love won't ever change.
Your love doesn't change...

Getting what you want sometimes is overrated
We should know by now, we should know by now...
Wanting what you've got will never leave you jaded
You should know by now, you should know by now...
See the lilies clothed in their splendor,
compared to them we're so much more cared for
When I swim on a sea of doubt, I see the shore
There's a Lighthouse shining far beyond these waves that roll
Tattered sales on a battered ship that is trying to steer
through the stormy tempest, peace and rest will soon be here
If I had the world wrapped up inside my tiny hands,
it wouldn't fill the place I long to be known
and You were shown all kingdoms still,
You shoved that serpent to the dust;
Why do I fail to trust?
See the lilies clothed in their splendor,
compared to them we're so much more cared for
When I swim on a sea of doubt, I see the shore
There's a Lighthouse shining far beyond these waves that roll
Tattered sales on a battered ship that is trying to steer
through the stormy tempest, peace and rest will soon be here
and ooh the horizon is coming clear
as You whisper the words I need to hear
as You whisper child do not fear
"Begin Again"
Written by Anthony Bianchini

Counting the lines on my face,
not one of them is out of place, and I begin again...
Counting the lines on my feet,
Ten thousand dead end streets, under my heels...
And I am holding on
until the dawn light breaks upon
the very life I live
I know it won't be long
before a flower grows here,
I've decided to reach out...
Counting the lines on my heart,
they might be lines, they might be scars...
What do my scars have to say?
They say I'm here today and I'm here to stay
That's why I'm holding on
until the dawn light breaks upon
the very life I live
I know it won't be long
before a flower grows here,
And I've decided to reach out... to reach out...
reach out forward...
I was made fearfully, wonderfully
I was made humanity, dignity,
belong to me, I was made...
Counting the lines on the page,
This life has sure been strange,
wouldn't you say?
But I'm still holding on
until the dawn light breaks upon
the very life I live
I know it won't be long
before a flower grows here,
I've decided to reach out... to reach out...
reach out for Your hand... for Your hand...
"Rumors"
Written by Edward Jerlin

I'm young and mad and disaffected
I'm not what your mother expected
I have an attitude
I'm different, JUST LIKE YOU
I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
My room's a mess, but you'll never know it
Sometimes I'm scared, but I'll never show it
I'm pressing on ahead
But I won't make my bed
And I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
Some days I'm not sure if I'll make it
Sometimes I'm nervous; it's time to fake it
I'm just a teddy bear
Pretending not to care
I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
My lies are true from my perspective
Say what it takes to be accepted
I have no use for school
Just trying to be cool
I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
They think they're cool, but they're all phony
They have no real friends; they're lonely
My enemies are fools
Their lives are social rules
But they all seem to know where they are going...
I'm trying to fit in
I'M TRYING TO STAND OUT
Please no one notice me
PLEASE SOMEONE NOTICE ME
(who's up,
(who's out,
(who's cool,
(who's wrong,
who's down,
who's in,
who's not,
who's right,
who wears
who lose,
who's cold,
who's dark,
the crown)
who win)
who's hot)
who's light)
You don't know what it's like to be me
I don't know what it's like to be free
Please won't you let me be
Won't you let me be me
Though I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
My attitude's an affectation
I'm trying to cause a sensation
It's all about the hair
And everything I wear
But I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
I think I'll go sit in a corner
Hope no one sees that I'm a loner
Some days I want to hide
Can't show them what's inside
'Cause I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
Life moves so fast; I can't stop running
I have no clue what I'm becoming
I'll reinvent myself
New person off the shelf
'Cause I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
Some day I'll look back with reflection
But right now I'm flying with no direction
I wanna break the rules
Do what I want to do
But I don't know who I am, or where I'm going...
I'm trying to fit in
I'M TRYING TO STAND OUT
Please no one notice me
PLEASE SOMEONE NOTICE ME
(who's up,
(who's out,

who's dark,
the crown)
who win)
who's hot)
who's light)
Leave me alone, that's all I ask now
And don't ask me why I wear this mask now
I only get one chance
To join in, in the dance*
Energetic and artistic
Engage, but don't dare risk it
And I can't make up my mind
How I should be defined
Or with whom I'll be aligned
LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME!!
Accepted or declined
Separate or be combined
Don't change or be refined
IRON SHARPENS IRON!!
Opt out or be assigned
Work hard or be reclined
Keep up, or fall behind
FAILURE'S NOT AN OPTION!!
Though I may be maligned
Someday they're gonna find
That they were always blind
to who I am, and where I'm going...
I cannot be confined
Leave my old life behind
Do what I was designed
to do here in this world we live in...
And I'll pass the final exam
'cause God made me who I am
Someday I'll get to where I'm going

Led by the Spirit she carried His son.
To Bethlehem city God's will be done.
Through the night, they made their way,
to a manger where Jesus would lay.
A child is born, the world rejoices.
The Savior's here! With all our voices,
Sing! Alleluia!
Angels appeared to the shepherds on high.
Their glorious light filled the evening sky,
spreading news of our Savior's birth.
The Messiah was here on this earth!
Wise men with treasures they traveled so far.
Led through the desert by one bright star,
bearing gifts for the new born King.
So humbled, they fell to their knees.
A child is born, the world rejoices.
The Savior's here! With all our voices,
Sing! Alleluia!
Emmanuel.
Our King is here!
Our King is here!
A child is born, the world rejoices.
The Savior's here! With all our voices,
Sing! Alleluia!
A child is born, the world rejoices.
The Savior's here!
Sing His praise, Amen!
Sing His praise, Amen!
Sing His praise, Alleluia!

On broken wings, Lord, am I,
but through your love I can fly!
Help me fly; mend my broken wings,
through the Lord, who is Christ the King.
Lift me up, and set me free!
-CHORUS-
On broken wings, I would fly!
Through God's grace, fly so high,
with a power which never ends,
in the Lord who lives again,
I can fly!
I really know I can't survive,
without Your help in the night.
Others promised, but they never called.
Only Christ dared to give me all,
to mend my life, and set me free!
-CHORUS-
So gather round, and be free,
not only now, but eternally.
Find the Lord, and embrace the life,
that will free you, so you can fly.
Lead us home, and set us free!
-CHORUS-
I can fly...
"Giving Tree"
Written by Rev. James Martin and Edward Jerlin

Let us talk about giving,
not about the gifts we have.
Let us talk about living,
hearing the call of God's promises.
For a giving tree is better than a hating tree.
We are called to be branches,
branches upon Christ's tree.
We are called to be carers,
not self-centered taking trees.
For a giving tree is better than a hating tree.
Open your eyes to the world.
The world is filled with greed.
Find your gifts inside you,
and give them to those in need.
For a giving tree is better than a hating tree.
Let us talk about giving,
not about the gifts we have.
For a giving tree is better...
"He who trusts in his riches shall fall;
but the righteous shall blossom like a branch."

"Liberate Us"
Written by Rev. James Martin and Edward Jerlin

I didn't really know you,
I didn't know your name,
or why you were coming on parade.
I only know I need you,
to help me find my way.
I only know without you, I lose the day.
-CHORUS-
So come on into Jerusalem!
Save the day, O Lord!
See the King, come to set us free!
So come on and claim your children,
for eternity.
Liberate us, from the darkness of the night!
Though so many mock you,
though so many laugh,
though so many doubt you, I believe!
I believe your mission,
Messiah for us all,
will lead us to salvation at God's call.
-CHORUS-
Not by might and power,
or denying others homes,
can we find the real Jerusalem.
If the King would lead us,
we would claim the call.
Liberation is God's will for all!

(Based on Psalm 121)
-CHORUS-
We come ringing,
Bells for His glory,
Bells for the Lord!
Bells that remember God's story!
We come ringing,
Bells for His glory,
Bells for the Lord!
Bells that remember God's story,
The story that brings us home!
We lift our eyes to the hills,
from there our help has surely come.
Our help has come from the Father,
who created heaven and earth.
Through the Father's Love,
our feet will not stumble,
and in His Son,
our lives will not end;
for through His Spirit,
we are reborn,
and find our Way home to God again!
-CHORUS-
Through Christ the Son, the light has dawned,
and is alive in this Holy place.
A community of Love against the darkness,
a place of comfort, a shelter, a shade.
A guardian angel, a shepherd,
a worthy lamb who has come to save!
And through His grace,
alone we prove worthy,
and in His Word we come home to stay!
-CHORUS-
"When The Labor's Done"
Written by Rev. James A. Martin and Edward Jerlin

Based on Matthew 11:28-30
Come all who labor, who labor in vain,
for understanding, and the healing of pain.
There is an answer, God does afford,
all who are faithful, and rest in the Lord.
-CHORUS-
Come labor on,
in the love of the Lord.
Christ had called us,
from our weary loads.
His yoke is easy,
and our burdens are light,
if we share His vision,
through the dark of the night.
If we are troubled, and marked by despair,
we rest in Your comfort, and grow through Your care.
Freed by Your vision, and truly blessed,
home in the Spirit, we find our rest.
-CHORUS-
Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Light,
Bread for the journey, hope for our sight,
the miracle beckons, to all we can be,
heavenly children, lovingly freed.
-CHORUS-

O Believe,
a miracle has happened,
for you and me!
O Believe,
that spring can bloom today,
for you and me!
-CHORUS-
Alleluia, Christ can save,
for He has risen from the grave!
Alleluia, Christ can save,
on this resurrection day!
Before the day is through, I know,
Christ's love will help us grow,
and you and I will still believe,
in Christ's resurrection dream.
-CHORUS-
Eternity,
a ransom from the grave,
Christ wins for you and me.
O Believe,
the light that shines right now,
shines for you and me...

The weekend's here and everybody's downtown.
They came to rock until their eardrums ring.
The music starts a fire to burn the house down.
And you know the time has come to do your own thing.
So play, play, play and do your own thing,
And rock-n-roll like only you know how.
When practice ends you feel your heart a pumpin'.
An hour before the gig you're in the noose.
As you take the stage, the crowd starts jumpin'.
They charge you up until you let it loose...
So play, play, play and do your own thing,
And rock-n-roll like only you know how,
ROCK IT NOW!!
Some may say to "play that funky music",
While others say they want to hear some swing.
If you can't lose with blues then go on choose it,
But most importantly just do you own thing...
So play, play, play and do your own thing,
And rock-n-roll like only you know how!
You've to to play, play, play and do your own thing,
And rock-n-roll like only you know how,
ROCK IT NOW!!

Prologue
Zero remains zero,
remains so forever.
Zero begins zero,
and being of no consequence,
"nothing ventured, nothing gained."
That was the time when only God remained,
to create out of nothing that which was not before,
but soon would be after...
It was a time,
when no human eye or ear had ever seen,
or known in any other way,
the majesty of God!
Chapter I "Beginnings"
It was a time when life was only a seed,
existing in the mind of God,
waiting, waiting, waiting to be rooted, and to grow.
Then God said: "Let there be light." (Genesis 1:3)
Then out of nothing,
nothing could be seen again!
And there was light,
and all creation obeyed, and groaned,
as the waiting was over!
Instrumental "The Growing Expanse"
Chapter II "The Light"
And the light was not afraid of the darkness,
and the darkness knew enough to give way to the light.
And nothing, nothing at all could overwhelm
the infinite majesty of God!
Chapter III "Perfection"
And it was a first day unlike others before,
and the very heavens were filled
with the Rapture of the Word of God!
And the Holy Spirit was present,
mothering a new world for six days,
breathing life into it.
And God said, "It is good!" (Genesis 1:31)
"And on the seventh day, God rested." (Genesis 2:2)

Don't you think it's time,
to let God in our lives,
to share the deep down feelings of God's heart?
To put it in perspective,
our lives God has directed,
His love He has perfected in our hearts.
-CHORUS-
O Lord, dear Lord,
we thank you from our hearts,
for the blessings hit the mark,
in our souls.
And we know, we know,
that our love can only grow,
when believers find it so
through a grace that flows.
And so we must be thankful,
for blessings we've received,
that bless us without ending from God's heart.
Let's take the time to praise Him,
to worship, and remember,
the love God has perfected in our hearts.
-CHORUS-
Our blessings can have meaning,
when we are receiving,
the real and only meaning, from God's heart.
For others who are waiting,
to know the love of claiming,
the love God has perfected in our hearts.
-CHORUS-
"I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts;
And I will be their God, and they shall be my people."
Jeremiah 31:33
"Christmas Morn"

I woke up Christmas morn;
I looked for something wrong.
It was so cold outside,
so I stayed inside and wrote this song.
It's been a long, hard year.
There's been so little things to cheer.
But we pressed on ahead,
and we're still here.
I hope there's brighter days ahead.
I hope to stand and cheer instead.
But when your team's the J - E - S - T - S,
there's nothing much to say.
Just sit down.
Then on this Christmas morn,
as I concoct this song,
I see a manger scene,
and I'm reminded of God's love.
I know He's got a plan for us,
we may not see it, but we've got to trust.
And though my team's the J - E - S - T - S,
my hope is not in them.
It's time to get up.
I'll wake my family;
It's time to gather by the tree.
And though we're not all here,
I'm thankful for the ones I see.
"God Will Change Us"
Written by Rev. James Martin and Edward Jerlin

Hush little baby, don't you cry,
God will lead us by heavenly light,
to the manger, in Bethlehem,
we would be reborn!
-CHORUS-
God will change us,
change our hearts,
and we'll live again.
God will change us,
change our hearts,
and we'll live again!
Like the shepherds in the fields,
we have found God's truth revealed.
God was born, Christ the Lord,
let us hail our King!
-CHORUS-
As we go to meet the King,
let us raise our voices and sing.
Mary raised a saving light,
who will lead us home!
-CHORUS-
"I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts;
And I will be their God, and they shall be my people."
Jeremiah 31:33
