We previously featured Jessica Cole in April 2007.
Jessica has been the worship leader at
our church for the past five years.
"Maker Of Life" is a beautiful song that Jessica wrote for our church, inspired by Psalm 118:14. She brought the melody to me & I filled out the musical arrangement. Jonathan Kiedrowski, a fellow bandmate on our worship team, also added a couple of tasty chord ideas to the arrangement.
A completely different musical arrangement of this song opens Jessica's new CD release "My Story" which is now available on her website. You can also sample it on her myspace page.
This arrangement was once slated to be included on the album as a bonus track, however it is so different from the rest of the lp that Jessica decided to offer it on her website as a download instead. The mix on her site will be a piano-only mix. The track featured here includes the full instrumental arrangement, making it an "Everlasting Arms exclusive"... :-) ...I freely confess that I feel that the version found here should be considered to be the "definitive" one. ;-)

"This project truly is my story. It is a wonderful love story of a Savior who heard a little girl's cry for hope & a future. He restored my life with a pure joy & an eternal purpose. He has continuously pursued me & has captured me & I am enraptured in His grace.
Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. Thank You for paying my ransom. Thank You for making it possible for me to enter into the Father's presence without a blood sacrifice, for You became the sacrifice for me. Thank You for offering eternal life, & making me Your bride. Thank You for an eternal homeland, & the hope of heaven. Thank You for Your Everlasting Love.
Thank you to all for your love & prayers as we minister the unchanging Gospel in an ever-changing world. God's love is open to all who call out to Him & confess Him as their Lord. Work continues on recording On Broken Wings.
At this point God willing, we hope to be able to complete
recording of it by this summer. We're scheduled to get
together with Meredith in June to record her backing vocals,
followed hopefully by mixing & mastering in July/August.
Your kind words & prayers for the Martin family in the wake
of Pastor Jim's passing have been greatly appreciated through
this difficult time.
